Tablet weaving

This is my second attempt at trying tablet or card weaving. Really chuffed it came out really well.

Current project

I'm currently working in making a pair of mittens. I'm doing them one row at a time to keep them even. I'm using naalbinding oslo stitch.

A belt made with back strap weaving.

Nalbinding hat with a nice contracting colour band. I used the Oslo stitch here.

In the beginning...

I have been doing Viking re-enactment now for over a year and enjoy learning about the crafts. I'm a member of Blaeddau Du who are part of a larger group called The Vikings!.

On this blog I'm hoping to show all the things I make for my re-enactment outfit and the items I make for other members of our group.
